Hugh leads Climateworks’ work on Net Zero Industrial Precincts in Australia, with a focus on accelerating significant emissions reductions in heavy industry supply chains through a place-based decarbonisation approach. 

Hugh has worked as a consultant in the agriculture, energy, water, and industrial sectors, providing advice to governments, universities and major corporations. He has advised state governments on climate change targets and legislation, investigated renewable energy microgrids in aquaculture, and modelled carbon stocks of Victoria’s forestry estate.

Hugh holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) with Honours and a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance), both from Deakin University.
